People are asking this question very much how can I accept my mistakes or how can I accept my mistakes and move on. People find this to be a very hard task. But the good thing is now people are trying to learn how they can be a better person and how they can get over with their past mistakes.
Most people don’t realise their mistakes. When sometime they realise that they have done a mistake, they start feeling guilty and bad about themselves.
This creates an obstacle while accepting mistakes.
Firstly, never forget who you are. Well, the answer is very simple; you are a human being and humans make mistakes. No human being is perfect and this is what we call life.
If you accept this fact by your heart, it will be much easier for you to accept your mistakes without any problem.
Now that you have accepted that making a mistake does not makes you a villain, the next step is the realization.
After doing a mistake, some people apologize for that but as a formality. In their heart, they are not wrong. Which means, they are not accepting the fact that they have done something wrong.
You need to realise what you have done wrong to accept it. Because by ignoring this or not accepting this, you are creating a life-long issue for your inner-self.
There is no use of any apology if you are not aware of your mistakes. So, if someone is telling you about your mistakes than don’t get offended. Hear to them and then think about it. If you find that you have made a mistake than accept it.

Now some of you might be wondering how to accept it exactly? Well, it is not a hard thing to do. Just sit alone somewhere comfortably and have a one on one session with yourself.
This is the best therapy to get the awareness of your acts till now. When you come across a mistake in that session, just say that loud to yourself that you have made a mistake.
This creates self-awareness of your actions. Not just the awareness but this session can also help you in finding the right approach in your life to avoid such mistakes again.
Now the other problem comes in this situation is Guilt. Sometimes, people feel guilt after realizing some mistakes. This guilt not only makes it harder for us to accept this mistake but it also stops us from moving on.
In such cases, give yourself time to grieve on what happened in past. Grieving not only helps in healing but also makes it easier to move forward.
Now you must be able to see the clear picture. Look at what happened because of your mistakes and try to find ways to correct them. Never forget that you can’t change what you did and what happened. But you can do it right next time.
Now that you grieved and found out the other possible approaches for better outcomes, promise yourself for not repeating this mistake and believe yourself.
This promise will not only help you in preventing recurring mistakes but can also help you in taking better and right decision in later life.
